Thanks for any tips.Īnother really basic stupid newby question. Sorry for the basic questions - just trying to understand the implications of all this before I get too far along. If I might want to vary the time that the finished animation (logo fly in etc) should sit on screen before fading out should I export a still at the end of the animation and load that in Hitfilm after the title and fade that still in Hitfilm? Or if I extend the title in Hitfilm will it add more of the final frame or just rescale everything to fit the new length? EDIT: bingo! this looks like Rigid Runs, which I just discovered from another post on here. Like I said, a complete newby - how is time length change managed? If I make a 1 minute Title STudio project and save it and I later load it on a media which is 30 seconds, does it cut the last 30 seconds off, or does it rescale everything proportionally? Also, after I send the title back to Hitfilm, what does it do if I lengthen or shorten it there. When I return to Hitfilm and my 30 FPS project, will the Title Studio animation be inserted so it’s frames match, or will it re-interpolate it so the times on the Time studio timeline (25FPS) match up to the times on the Hitfilm timeline (30FPS). Becomes pretty confusing at high time values. I change it to 30 FPS but the timeline doesn’t change - I have to keep track that 1 sec is where the timeline says “1+5frames”, 2 sec is “2+10frames”, etc. When I apply Boris to it and open Title Studio it always thinks the project is at 25 FPS. Just exploring and trying to make a logo, so I have a background still graphic in Hitfilm with 15 seconds duration and at 30 FPS.I got the 3 buttons at the bottom but I’d like to zoom in and out interactively. I have checked “Mouse Wheel zoom” but it seems to have no effect. How do I zoom in the timeline? My mouse wheel seems to move the Current time marker back and forth.A few embarassingly simple questions for a newb: Hitfilm has completely reorganized so I don’t think I can upgrade my version. Just getting back to Hitfilm Express and I have the Boris 3D addon that includes Title Studio (Continuum 2019 12.). For example, entering 2 in the Revolutions field means that the object would rotate 360° twice.Hi! New to Boris but previous keyframer. Scrub the degree value as you would any other parameter. What makes a Degree Slider different is that it has a separate numerical field for revolutions, allowing you to animate parameters over values greater than 360°. Depending on the option, different parameters may become available.ĭegree Sliders are used for parameters whose values are measured in degrees, such as angles or hue values around the color wheel. For example, switching between point and spotlights. * Reset resets the parameter back to its default value and removes any keyframe.Ĭlick to choose additional options or behaviors. * Ease In/Ease Out Interpolation is a combination of Accelerate and Decelerate, providing speeding up from the first keyframe, and slowing down as it progresses to the second. * Decelerate Interpolation will gradually slow down the animation between two keyframes. * Accelerate Interpolation will gradually speed up the animation between two keyframes. * Linear Interpolation creates a smooth and constant progression between two keyframe parameters. The effect will not change until another keyframe is placed on the timeline. Changes to the parameter have a global effect on the project. * Constant Interpolation does not create keyframes. Each style of interpolation can change the look of your effect in various ways. Title Studio animates between keyframes based on what kind of interpolation you select. Holding Shift while scrubbing will enable faster scrubbing, while holding the Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac) will enable slower scrubbing for fine tuning values. Holding the pointer over a parameter will display its minimum and maximum value. Different parameters have different maximum values. You can click to manually input a value, or scrub the parameter to adjust the value. The available groups and parameters are track specific and will depend on which track has been selected in the timeline.ĭisplays the current value of the associated parameter. For information on individual parameter groups please click here.Ĭlick tabs to display the various parameter controls for each group. The Controls window allows you to adjust the values for each parameter and choose how to interpolate those values between keyframes. The tabs available depend on which track is selected in the Timeline as all tracks have parameters that are specific to them. The Controls Window displays the animatable parameters for each track, organized into one or more tabs.
